Fender collaborated with The Edge to create a guitar that reflects the “sound” and “feel” he wanted for both live performances and studio recordings. The Edge mentioned that he had favored the Stratocaster for decades—especially models from 1973–1974, which served as the direct inspiration for this signature model.

🔹 Official Launch
Fender officially released The Edge Signature Stratocaster in 2016, alongside the Fender Edge Deluxe amplifier. The goal was to give players the ability to achieve “The Edge’s tone” from source to stage, by offering both guitar and amp tuned to his signature sound.
This model is based on a traditional Stratocaster but features custom materials, hardware, and pickup selections tailored for the demands of large-scale live performances—exactly how The Edge uses his guitars.

📉 Discontinuation
