ซินธิไซเซอร์ Expressive E Osmose 61-key Polyphonic Synthesizer and MIDI Controller

The Expressive E Osmose originated from a decade-long effort by Expressive E, a Paris-based company founded in 2013, to rethink how keyboard instruments respond to human touch. Rather than just triggering sounds, Osmose was designed to interpret physical gestures — such as press, bend, vibrato, glide, and aftertouch — as expressive musical data.

The Osmose series expands on this concept with its 3D keybed, which captures vertical and lateral motion per key, giving the player unprecedented expressive control over sounds. Developed in collaboration with Haken Audio, its EaganMatrix sound engine blends synthesis methods (physical modeling, FM, subtractive, etc.) to respond dynamically to performance gestures.

In 2025, Expressive E expanded the original lineup by releasing the 61-key version of Osmose — providing an extra octave for traditional pianistic range, deeper harmonic exploration, and more expressive performance options while retaining the core innovations of the smaller 49-key model.

Production was moved to a new facility in Poland, allowing Expressive E full in-house assembly and quality control to guarantee European-level standards and ongoing evolution with firmware updates.
