Austrian Audio was founded in Vienna in 2017 by a team of former AKG engineers after the AKG Vienna offices closed. Their goal was to continue the tradition of precision microphone design and manufacturing in Austria.
The LMDS1 (Live Mic Demo Set 1) was created as a comprehensive microphone demonstration kit, aimed at allowing engineers, artists, and dealers to experience multiple Austrian Audio microphones in one package.
Instead of purchasing and testing individual models separately, the LMDS1 provides a curated selection of Austrian Audio’s most important live and studio microphones in a single portable set.
