Because Rick needed an instrument that could fully support his advanced techniques—while also being versatile enough for live performances and studio work—Charvel (a Fender-owned brand) collaborated with him to release his first signature model in 2021.
This guitar belongs to the MJ Series (Made in Japan), which focuses on delivering premium craftsmanship and features at a more accessible price point compared to the USA Select line, while still maintaining pro-level quality.
