is a high-end signature guitar from Charvel Custom Shop USA, created for Warren DeMartini — the iconic guitarist of the band Ratt, one of the famous glam metal/hair metal bands of the 1980s.

🎸 History of the Frenchie Guitar
🔹 Origin
“Frenchie” is the nickname of this guitar due to its pin-up style graphic of a woman and the French phrase:

“Trop vite pour vivre, trop jeune pour mourir”
which means “Too fast to live, too young to die.”
(This is a quote from James Dean that Warren greatly admired.)

The original guitar was heavily used by Warren DeMartini in the late 80s for both recording and live performances and is one of the most memorable guitars for Ratt fans.

🔹 Launch
Charvel officially launched the USA Signature Frenchie model at Summer NAMM 2017.

It was part of Charvel’s revival of collaborations with legendary artists from the 80s after the company’s rebranding.

The guitar was designed and produced by Charvel Custom Shop USA, with Warren involved in every step of the development.

Warren was one of the pioneers of using Charvel guitars during the Hair Metal wave, alongside artists like Jake E Lee, Eddie Van Halen, and George Lynch.

His playing style is a blend of technical skill and classic hard rock melodies.
