The Friedman BE-50 Deluxe

The Friedman BE-50 Deluxe (also known as BE-50 Head) was first introduced at NAMM 2018. It was designed to combine the signature tones of various Friedman amps into a flexible 50-watt tube head suitable for both studio and live use

Inspiration: Dave Friedman, founder of Friedman Amplification, was inspired by 1968 Marshall amps and the use of Variac voltage adjustments to achieve thick, harmonically rich, and dynamic tones—famously referred to as BE (Brown Eye) and HBE (Hot Brown Eye)

Clean Channel: The clean channel draws inspiration from the Buxom Betty amp, delivering clear, articulate tones with plenty of dynamics, ideal for pedals and effects

Versatility: With its multi-channel design, the BE-50 Deluxe provides high flexibility for musicians, making it suitable for a wide range of genres and applications—both on stage and in the studio.
