Description

Guild Starfire IV ST – Antique Sunburst

The Starfire IV ST is a semi-hollow double-cutaway electric guitar from Guild’s Newark St. Collection, carrying forward the legacy of the iconic Starfire line that has been beloved by Blues and Rock players since the 1960s. Over the decades, it has become one of Guild’s most recognizable and enduring models.

Unlike its predecessors, the Starfire V and traditional Starfire IV, the IV ST features an all-maple body with a solid spruce center block, paired with a Stopbar Tune-O-Matic bridge. This design enhances sustain and gives the guitar a more modern character, delivering a bright, open tone while retaining the distinct voice of Guild’s LB-1 “Little Bucker” pickups, shared with the Starfire V.

The neck is crafted in a 3-piece Mahogany/Maple/Mahogany construction with a Vintage Soft “U” profile, topped with an ebony fingerboard for a smooth and responsive feel. Grover® Sta-Tite™ open-gear tuners (18:1 ratio) ensure excellent tuning stability. Independent volume and tone controls for each pickup provide wide tonal flexibility.

Comes complete with a hardshell case.
