Description
The AAM380CE is an acoustic/electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2024, made in China as part of the Advanced Acoustic series.
It features an Advanced Auditorium body shape with a top sound port and an Advanced Access cutaway. The body uses a solid Sitka spruce top with X-M bracing, and laminated rosewood back and sides with a high-gloss finish.
The soundhole is round with an abalone and wooden rosette, soundhole binding, and a red tortoise pickguard. Top and back edges feature rounded black binding.
It has a Thermo Aged African mahogany neck and a 20-fret Macassar ebony fretboard with small maple dot inlays. Components include a scalloped Macassar ebony bridge, compensated bone saddle, bone nut, black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, and chrome die-cast tuners.
Electronics include an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and a contact pickup, both controlled by Ibanez Custom Electronics with individual volume controls, feeding dual outputs (¼” stereo and mono out).
