The back and sides of this LAG Tramontane western guitar are made of African sapele and combined with a top of Sitka spruce. A mahogany neck is glued to the body of this dreadnought model. These types of wood are only finished with a satin finish. In terms of fingerboard and bridge you are dealing with the popular creamy rosewood. The sonic result is a balanced, sparkling clear, balanced acoustic sound with an accent in the form of a pleasant roundness in the highs. Compared to mahogany back and sides, you receive just a little more sparkle in the overall sound.
