PRS SE Custom 24-08 LEFTY is the left-handed version of PRS’s (Paul Reed Smith) most popular series, inheriting the DNA of the flagship PRS Custom 24, which was first introduced in 1985 and has since become a true symbol of the PRS brand.

PRS launched the SE (Student Edition) line in the early 2000s with the purpose of making PRS guitars more accessible to musicians at an affordable price point, while still maintaining the brand’s hallmark craftsmanship and tonal quality. The release of the PRS SE Custom 24-08 represents an evolution of the original SE Custom 24, offering greater tonal versatility with its 8 pickup combinations (24-08 system), featuring push/pull tone controls for coil-splitting—allowing players to access both humbucker and single-coil sounds within a single guitar.

The Lefty version was specifically designed to give left-handed players the same playing experience and quality as right-handed players—a rarity in the market, where left-handed guitars are often limited in availability.
