Mahogany singlecut construction
Warm, resonant, harmonically rich mahogany has been at the heart of classic guitar tones since the 1950s. The Starla SE sports sports a singlecut, asymmetric-beveled, thin mahogany body that delivers fat tones. Set to the neck is a 25″-scale Wide Fat mahogany neck with a 10″ rosewood fingerboard that’s beautifully inset with PRS Birds inlays.
Starla-inspired DS-02 pickups
DS-02 pickups inspired by previous Starla guitars give the PRS SE Starla a distinctively crisp, clean sound, with excellent string-to-string balance and enough variety to stage a set. Especially nice for classic players is the streamlined 3-way pickup selector and push-pull coil-split switch, which together provide access to an impressively wide range of tones
Note: the PRS SE Starla sports a classic stoptail bridge.
