The Radial OX8 is a professional 8-channel passive microphone splitter. It’s designed to take a single microphone source and split it into three separate outputs simultaneously, making it ideal for live sound, recording, and broadcast applications where pristine audio quality and noise elimination are critical.

The three main outputs for each channel are:

• Direct Out: A straight-through connection that also passes +48V phantom power back to condenser microphones.
• Thru-put (Auxiliary Out): A direct feed equipped with a ground lift switch to help eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops.
• Isolated Out: A fully transformer-isolated output. This provides complete electrical isolation between audio systems, which is the most effective way to prevent ground loop noise, perfect for feeding a recording console or a broadcast truck.

This functionality allows you to cleanly send a microphone signal to a Front of House (FOH) console, a monitor console, and a recording system without any of the systems interfering with one another.
