This EX-1958 uses Mahogany wood all over, painted in a Natural Matt color that makes you feel the full feel of the wood. But even so, this EX is lightweight. Incredibly!!And the pickup part is also a special model, the HV-58, which is a classic style humbucker with an airy, warm sound because it is not swollen, blurry, and uncomfortable in the style of a Gibson Classic.The neck is a Modern D Shape, which is not as thick as the commonly understood D shape, but rather flat to fit the hand for responsiveness to playing with an emphasis on agility.
The Finger Board uses Indian Rosewood on Radius 12 and jumbo stainless steel frets.
