History / Development of the Spector Euro LX

Spector Brand

Spector was founded by Stuart Spector in 1976 in New York.
Today, the brand operates under Korg USA.

Euro Series and the “Euro LX”

The Euro Series is Spector’s line built with high-quality European tonewoods—most notably European alder—designed to deliver the classic Spector sound.

The Euro LX models represent the premium tier of the Euro line.
They are available in both Neck-Through and Bolt-On configurations.

Neck-Through Construction

In neck-through models, the neck extends through the entire body.

The neck itself is built from 3-piece maple reinforced with graphite rods, giving excellent stability and resistance to warping.

🔊 Tone Character:
Sound Thick-tight (tight) Clear mid, bites the meat well, plays slap bounces, hands and fingers are clear

Sound B string is sharp, not blurred because of 35” scale and neck-thru

Preamp TonePump gives a warm + very aggressive sound (metal players will like it)
