Boasting 44 watts of pure handwired tube tone, the compact Bella dishes out a serious degree of decibels. Two 6L6GC power tubes provide this amp with a classic American-style sonic voice, along with a trio of 12AX7 preamp tubes to supply rich front-end saturation and power the tube-driven buffered effects loop. Looking to lay down a few tracks in your practice room or cop natural dirt without blowing out your windows? Flip the Bella down into its half-power mode for a more manageable (but still quite powerful!) 22-watt operation.
Brilliant Bright switch and +6dB Boost
In addition to its Presence, Treble, and Bass controls, the Bell’s simple yet versatile control section features two additional switches to shape your sound.
- Boost: This searing switch injects your signal with a +6dB boost at the gain stage, making it a breeze to achieve organic breakup even with lower-output vintage-style pickups. This switch can also be engaged by plugging in an optional footswitch to the jack on the Bella’s rear panel.
- Bright: The 3-position bright switch offers two different levels of brightness to choose, from a modest boost to your treble response to an all-out infusion of bell-like, chiming high end. This switch can also be flipped off to completely remove it from the Bella’s circuit.
