ThorpyFX Limited Edition Peacekeeper GE Low Gain Overdrive Pedal: An upgraded overdrive for a unique and limited-run tone.

I feel like now more than ever, we need a bit more peace, so how about peace squared? The Peace²keeper GE Low Gain Edition came from a want to take our loved low-mid gain overdrive and make it even lower gain. We’ve slightly modified the circuit, taking it from an asymmetrical clipped drive to a symmetrically clipped drive and replaced some of those diodes with some NOS Germanium diodes I had from my pre-ThorpyFX days. I’ve been holding onto them for something special and decided that this was it. I only have a finite number of these diodes, so once this batch is gone, we won’t be making any more.

• Highly Controllable: The midrange control is placed before the pre-gain circuit, giving you more room to customize your sound. The active high and low EQ controls sit after the pre-gain circuit for the widest range possible.

The fundamentals of the circuit and controls are the same, it’s just something a little special I wanted to do to the Peacekeeper. The two together sound fantastic stacked, so even if you already have an original, it’s worth getting both. ThorpyFX pedals are built to last. The unique recessed look protects the dials from breakage and the dangers of touring. Its metal casing ensures the delicate circuit is well housed. Only the very best electronics have gone into building ThorpyFX pedals. 1% metalfilm resistors, Wima and Panasonic capacitors, Neutrik jacks, and a Burr-Brown Opamp deliver a crisp effect.
