Taking inspiration from a studio legend while adding a few new tricks, the Bock 167 from Universal Audio is a large-diaphragm, tube condenser microphone that captures the classic, smooth tone of the venerable U67 and injects modern flexibility. With continuously variable pickup patterns ranging from omnidirectional and figure-8, to cardioid, as well a host of onboard controls for sculpting your sound, the Bock 167 is immensely versatile, offering all of the sonic quality of the original K67 capsule, but with cutting-edge precision and reliability. 

This handwired mic boasts three distinct EQ settings for cutting or boosting high frequencies, a -10 dB pad for avoiding unwanted distortions during loud sessions, and a unique fat switch for boosting low-end content between 10 and 400 Hz. This microphone includes a premium wooden storage case, a shockmount, and the UA Bock 167 true linear power supply, which provides the variable pattern control and a fine-tuned power output that will help your mic produce stunning recordings for years to come.
