Bill Bachman is renowned within the marching world as a multi-tenor drumming guru. He has instructed many award-winning groups including the Bluecoats, Blue Knights, and Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. He is the founder of drumworkout.com and the author of several instructional books which have become standards. Additionally, Bill is the designer of the Vic Firth Heavy Hitter Pad Series.
“My previous signature stick was more of a solo stick that was designed very short to focus on individual tenor drumming heroics,” claims Bachman, “but the new and improved model is both longer and smaller in diameter for a much more universal feel.” It features a short taper for plenty of weight up front which gives it the full & dark sound, the large bead which is designed to have the same maxed out footprint on the head for the hand crossed over and under, and the drop-down fulcrum notch which gives the front fingers better access for quick finesse playing while allowing the back of the stick to taper up and match the contour of the hand. Bachman adds, “Try them on snare too for a full meaty sound and amazing rebound!”
