Squier J5 Telecaster รุ่นนี้เป็นทรงที่ทำมาแบบ John5 มือกีต้าร์ชาวอเมริกันชื่อดังที่เล่นแบ็คอัพให้กับหลายๆวงเช่น มารีลิน แมนสัน รุ่นนี้เจ้าตัวร่วมออกแบบกับทีมอีกด้วยจึงไม่แปลกที่แม้ว่าจะเป็นทรงเทเลคาสเตอร์แต่กลับใช้ปิ๊กอัพเป็น Humbacker เพิ่มความดุเพราะตัว John5 เองเล่นสายร็อคโหดๆแบบเมทัลอยู่แล้ว ใครที่ชื่นชอบในซาวด์ดุดันถือว่าน่าสนใจไม่น้อย ตัวปิ๊กอัพนั้นมาทั้งสองแบบคือแบบแม้เหล็กอัลนิโกที่เสียงพุ่งดุดันและแบบเซรามิคเสียงจะออกแนวหวานให้เลือกใช้งานกันตามความชอบ
