เปียโนไฟฟ้า Yamaha DGX-670 ที่อัพเกรดมาจากรุ่น DGX-660 โดยหลักๆแล้วจะเป็นการเพิ่มซาวด์และฟังก์ชั่นให้มีความครบเครื่องกว่าเดิม จาก 554 เสียงในรุ่น 660 ปรับมาเป็น 601 เสียงในรุ่นนี้ ให้คุณเพลิดเพลินไปกับทุกสิ่งตั้งแต่การเล่นเปียโนอย่างเดียวไปจนถึงการเล่นพร้อมกับเครื่องดนตรีอื่น ๆ ตัวคีย์ 88 คีย์ แบบ GHS ที่ช่วยให้ได้สัมผัสสมจริงเหมือนแกรนด์เปียโนมากขึ้น ตั้งค่าทัชชิ่งได้ 5 ระดับ และปรับหน้าจอมาเป็นแบบ TFT ขนาด 4.3 นิ้ว ความคมชัดมากกว่าเดิม
นอกจากเรื่องเสียงแล้ว สิ่งที่เพิ่มมาจะเป็นเรื่องฟังก์ชั่นต่างๆ เช่น ฟังก์ชั่น Unison และ Accent ช่วยเพิ่มเสียงสองเท่าให้กับไลน์เมโลดี้และเพลง “ฮิต” เมื่อคุณเน้นเสียงโน้ต หรือระบบ Smart Chord ที่เล่นเพลงได้ด้วยการใช้มือเดียว เล่นคอร์ดยากๆเช่น Jazz 7th ที่ซับซ้อนได้ด้วยนิ้วเพียงไม่กี่นิ้ว
ตัวซาวด์เปียโนจะเป็น CFX Stereo Sampling สร้างเสียงของ CFX Full Concert Grand ได้สมบูรณ์แบบ และ Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) ที่จำลองเสียงเครื่องดนตรีอื่นๆหลายร้อยเสียง ทำให้ทุกสิ่งทั้งการเล่นสเตจหรือบันทึกเสียงทำได้จบในตัวเดียว เท่านั้นยังไม่พอ ยังรองรับ USB และ Bluetooth อีกด้วย ตัวลำโพงปรับเพิ่มจากเดิมที่มีขนาด 12 ซม. 2 ตัว รุ่นนี้ให้ลำโพงขนาด 5 ซม. อีก 2 ตัวเพิ่มมาอีก เรียกว่าครบเครื่องและคุ้มค่าอย่างมากสำหรับการอัพเกรดครั้งนี้
