Alvarez LD70e Daybreak is an electro-acoustic guitar from the Laureate Series, featuring an all-solid wood construction. This model is a significant upgrade from the Masterworks Series, and it truly surprised both Alvarez fans and the Cin Guitars team — especially because the wood used in this series is on par with those found in guitars priced in the hundred-thousand-baht range.
It also features a traditional-style bridge, reminiscent of guitars from the 1800s to 1930s, which gives it a vintage feel. In terms of playability, after trying it out, the team unanimously agreed: it feels solid — solid in both build and tone. The sound is full-bodied, bold, and sharp, giving the impression of holding a guitar worth several hundred thousand baht.
The Alvarez LD70e Daybreak comes equipped with the LR Baggs HiFi pickup system, which uses a transducer to capture the vibrations of the guitar’s top. This allows for a very natural amplified tone, and it also picks up body taps, making it perfect for percussive playing styles.
