Handcrafted with care in Bozeman, Montana, by Gibson’s expert acoustic luthiers, the new Gibson Hummingbird Special offers players a USA-built Gibson Hummingbird model at a very attractive price.

Tonewoods and Sound

• Traditional Square Shoulder body shape

• Back and sides made of solid mahogany

• Top made of solid Sitka spruce

• Reinforced with traditional scalloped X-bracing

• Delivers warm, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range

• Concert depth body is thinner than the Hummingbird Standard
  → Produces a leaner, tighter bass response
  → Easier to hold and play

• Neck made of utile wood

• Joint: Compound dovetail, glued with hot hide glue
