The YTR-2330S trumpet replaces Yamaha’s best-selling YTR-2335S model, which is now discontinued. The YTR-2335S had been the de facto standard student trumpet for well over a decade. At first glance, the new YTR-2330S appears to be quite similar to its predecessor, and for the most part the design remains unchanged. Yamaha has made no compromises with their new model. Rest assured that the new YTR-2330S upholds Yamaha’s reputation for designing instruments that provide outstanding performance, durability, and quality!

The 2nd and main tuning slides are produced using the same method as high-end Yamaha models, which provides stability, a more refined tonal color and added durability.

Highly durable monel alloy pistons as well as newly designed piston buttons and bottom caps help lengthen the life of the instrument while also maximizing sound quality.
