You can even patch external drum machines and synths into the headphone connector to create glitchy, space-age sounds.

Plug in and perform

The inclusion of a gooseneck electret microphone allows you to incorporate your voice into the mix. As it’s a gooseneck, you won’t need to waste time and money transporting a microphone and stand around with you. Simply plug it directly into the synth and you’re good to go.

The microphone can easily be adjusted in height and position to suit the needs of your performance. By going to the utility menu, you’ll be able to set optimised levels for gain and gating. Thanks to this, you’ll be able to determine when the microphone is responsive to sound. This makes it particularly useful for performing in loud environments.

Classic filter, new methods

Based on a classic analogue 12db/Oct filter, the Vocoder Edition can scream or whisper. This powerful state-variable filter can self-oscillate, giving your sound design new realms to explore. Modulate the cut off with keyboard pressure or even with the sequencer. The filter offers massive scope for adding that finishing touch to your sound design or for taking the edge of those abrasive wavetable sounds.
