ESP LTD EC-1001 FR

ESP LTD EC-1001 FR: Deluxe Single-Cut Electric Guitar with EMG Metalworks Pickups and Floyd Rose 1000SE Tremolo

The ESP LTD EC-1001 FR is an electric guitar from the LTD Deluxe EC-1000 Series, designed to deliver the tone, feel, appearance, and quality expected by serious and professional musicians. Combining a mahogany body with a visually striking flamed maple top, the EC-1001 FR offers classic EC styling alongside modern performance features. Its EMG Metalworks active pickups and Floyd Rose 1000SE tremolo system make it a versatile instrument for players who demand powerful tones and expressive playing capabilities.

The mahogany body provides a warm, full-bodied tonal foundation suitable for both rhythm and lead guitar playing. A flamed maple top adds distinctive natural figuring, giving the guitar an eye-catching appearance that complements the familiar single-cutaway EC body shape.

One of the standout features of the ESP LTD EC-1001 FR is its Floyd Rose 1000SE tremolo bridge, which incorporates stainless steel screws for improved component durability. The double-locking design supports expressive tremolo techniques, including dive bombs, vibrato, and dramatic pitch changes, while helping maintain tuning stability when properly adjusted and maintained.

The guitar is equipped with an active EMG 81 Metalworks humbucker in the bridge position and an EMG 60 Metalworks humbucker in the neck position. The EMG 81 delivers a tight, focused, and aggressive response that works particularly well with distortion and high-gain amplifier settings. The EMG 60 offers articulate tonal detail, making it suitable for clean passages, melodic playing, and expressive lead guitar techniques.

A rosewood fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets provides an extended playing range for higher-register notes and technical guitar work. The larger fret size supports comfortable string bending and expressive solos, making the EC-1001 FR suitable for players who frequently move between powerful riffs and fast lead passages.

Combining distinctive flamed maple styling, Floyd Rose tremolo performance, and the powerful response of active EMG Metalworks pickups, the ESP LTD EC-1001 FR is well suited to rock, hard rock, and metal guitarists seeking an expressive instrument for rehearsals, recording sessions, and live performances.
