Thermally aged for outstanding tone

The thermal-aging process, also called torrefaction, that Gibson uses on their acoustics removes moisture and other impurities from the tonewoods they use in their builds. The result is a more vintage, aged tone: opulent, deep, and balanced, and it will only improve with time! In addition to improved tone, torrefaction also enhances the Banner 1942 J-45’s durability.
