Ultra-dynamic pickups

Guild’s very own HB-2s adorn this supreme guitar, helping to give it that rich, chunky, powerful tone with minimal noise. With Alnico II magnets, they have a more vintage drawl, exuding warmth and smoothness in equal measure. However, you can still push them hard to achieve a more rock-focused tone. And the push/pull controls help to deliver a sparkling single coil sound which will make every note you play ‘twang’ and ‘pop’.

Resounding resonance

A resonance like no other. Semi-hollow guitars create that beautiful, full sound – as well as looking absolutely stunning. Unlike regular hollow bodies, semi-hollows have blocks installed which massively reduce annoying feedback, meaning that with this guitar you get a pure, crystal-clear sound. There’s even some stylish holes carved into the maple top to help add to your suave look onstage.

Steadfast hardware

You’ll never be let down. With an array of seamless hardware installed on the Starfire I, it will always perform flawlessly. The locking Tune-O-Matic bridge gives you world-class tuning stability for a consistent sound whenever you play. Vintage 18 open gear tuning machines also help with stability, whilst adding a shining aesthetic to the head of the guitar.
