Three piece maple neck with rosewood fretboard. Rosewood truss rod cover is a nice touch, makes the bass look more fancy than it is.Tuners are sealed and most likely Gotoh brand. Master volume, pickup blend, bass, treble, and sweepable mid knobs. Bolt on neck has two octaves. Mono-rail style bridge where each string has it’s own seperate bridge.The 5-string’s body is made of flamed maple, with a mahogany center amaple back, on a 35″ scale. The pickups are 2 passive humbuckers, andthose go through a 3 band, 18V active eq, with a pickup blend and master volume control. It has a nice oil finish, far different from many of the oil finishes that I have seen before. The sides are dark, but the main body is light. 23 frets (24 for the D and G strings). A nice extra is the “cord-lock” freature, where to unplug the bass, you push a release lever. This is to prevent the cord from accidentally falling out for some reason. The pickups look like Bartolini that were labeled Ibanez.
