Harmonically rich, with superb inter-string balance, the RRMG is powered by a duo of active EMG® humbucking pickups—an 81 in the bridge position and an coilsplittable 89 in the neck position. Mounted directly to the body for increased sustain through enhanced vibration transfer, these high-output pickups are just the trick for cranking out heavily-saturated overdriven tones while retaining enough clarity to punch through a thick onstage mix. The speedy neck profile is engineered for blazing guitar work, removing any obstacles to fleet-fingered playing and granting easier access to the upper frets. A Charvel®-Jackson compound radius compensated bridge creates rock-solid tuning performance and precise intonation while remaining easily adjustable to match any player’s taste for action. The ultra-fast three-piece maple neck bears a pair of graphite rods for reinforcement against the assaults of temperature and humidity, remaining true for unbeatable performance. The 12”-16” compound radius fingerboard is designed for highly technical lightspeed playing—more curved by the nut for comfortable chording, it flattens out as you move up the speedy neck for increasingly fast playing speed and wide bends without fretting out.
