Shure’s MOTIV desktop app, while originally exclusive to their range of MOTIV USB microphones, is now accessible with everything from an SM58 to a KSM32. This offers access to EQ, limiting, compression, clean gain, and auto-level, as well as customisable sound signatures and distance to add space between you and the mic without needing to move an inch. It even offers a gain boost to power quieter dynamic microphones like the SM7B without needing a preamp!
