The Tascam SB-16D Dante Stage Box is the ultimate solution for high-quality audio recording, mixing and playback. Combining professional-grade Class 1 HDIA microphone preamps, 32-bit A/D converters and Dante networking capabilities, the SB-16D is the perfect choice for any live sound or studio application. With 16 XLR mic/line inputs and 16 XLR line outputs, the SB-16D is the ideal solution for large ensembles and extensive installed Dante systems. The SB-16D also supports Dante Domain Manager, AES67 and SMPTE 2110 interoperability and has two Dante ports equipped with etherCON-compatible network connectors for robust connections. For increased system reliability, a DC input is provided for a redundant power supply (not included).

High-end sound quality with Class 1 HDIA Mic Preamps and 32-Bit ADCs

Equipped with Tascam’s renowned Class 1 HDIA microphone preamps, the SB-16D offers exceptional sound reproduction with an ultra-low EIN of -128 dBu and a maximum input level of +32 dBu. This ensures pristine sound quality with plenty of headroom for sudden level increases. The combination of Class 1 HDIA preamps, 32-bit ADCs and a sampling frequency of 96 kHz provide best-in-class sound that will never disappoint.

Seamless integration with Sonicview mixers

When connected to a Tascam Sonicview mixing console, the SB-16D allows for remote control of microphone gain and seamless integration of inputs and outputs on the touchscreen. The SB-16D is also equipped with a GPIO interface with eight inputs and outputs, which expand to 16 GPIO ins and outs when connected to a Sonicview mixer, allowing for parallel control.

Floor/rack mounting versatility

Ideal for both stage and studio applications, the SB-16D and can be easily positioned on the floor or mounted in a 19-inch rack. Tascam IO Control – remote control software

For advanced users, the Tascam SB-16D can be controlled via the Tascam IO Control software (Windows, macOS and iPadOS); allowing you to take full control of every function and connection on the SB-16D. Real-time monitoring is provided with graphic metering, allowing you to keep track of your connections at a glance. You can also change sampling frequency as well as the digital and analog reference level and much more.
