The Yamaha APX600M acoustic-electric guitar is the latest edition of the best-selling Yamaha APX600 guitar series. It features a matte finish on both the body and neck for a cool and pleasing look.

The Yamaha APX 600M acoustic boasts two new matte finishes, Natural Satin, and Smoky Black.

The APX600 is one of the world’s best-selling guitars and continues the legacy of Yamaha’s thin-line body style that began with the original APX500 decades ago.

Important features on the APX600M thinline Yamaha acoustics include an abalone rosette, 25″ scale length, System 65A preamp with onboard tuner, Spruce top, chrome die-cast tuners, and the two new matte colors mentioned above.

The comfortable thin-line body with cutaway of the Yamaha APX600M combines comfort, easy top-fret access, and a sound that’s suited for on-stage use – clear mids, balanced highs, and controlled lows.

The Yamaha APX600M acoustics are stage-focused guitars with Yamaha’s System 65A preamp and piezo pickup for an authentic acoustic guitar tone. Additionally, they’re comfortable for electric guitar players wanting to play acoustic, and acoustic guitarists who desire a smaller (than a dreadnought) guitar.

The pickup on the APX has been designed to use the individual elements of each string to provide you with a balanced response when plugging. It has an ultra-clear response with a wide bandwidth signal response which means you get a great dynamic response – no matter how hard or soft you play. It’ll pick up every nuance in your playing.
