Rapid Mount and Dismount
The MAY® ABS Auto-Release feature is designed to release and reposition automatically as the carrier is lifted off and on, resulting in rapid mount and dismount without loosening any of the ABS sizing or Contour fit adjustments.

Incorporates two specifically designed pivot points that independently modify profiling through a wide range of adjustments.

Proven Contour Hinge technology allows these carriers to become one with the player by contouring the player’s torso. This body profiling fit reduces unwanted torque (multiplier) from improper alignment yet remains secure and durable enough to sustain the daily rigors of marching field drills.

Eliminates Restrictive J-Rods
MAY Monoposto and Biposto carriers incorporate freedom of movement, allowing elaborate maneuvers that are essential to any contemporary marching performance. In addition, with their mounting posts and drop and lock features consistent with Stadium Hardware, MAY Monoposto and Biposto carriers provide stability and easy adjustment on the fly. They also deliver a limitless range of playing positions for all drummers, regardless of their height or drum size.
Polycarbonate Abdomen Plate
This ultra-light material provides unsurpassed strength-to-weight ratio. The MAY® Abdomen Plate™ is virtually free-floating; it bears no torque weight from the drum.
Magnesium Shoulder Supports
Padded, black, powder-coated magnesium shoulder supports are 38% lighter than their aluminum counterparts, which provides ultra-lightweight, long-lasting comfort.
Monoposto/Biposto Bridge
Transfers all the sheer and torque load only to the tubes, away from the abdomen plate, improving rigidity and stability to the instrument, creating a more reliable playing position. Incorporating the Posto/Biposto bridge technology with Contour Hinge and ABS, this carrier becomes one with the player and remains secure and durable enough to withstand the daily rigors of contemporary marching movement.
Swivel Arm Adjustment
This feature (Variable Distance Positioning System) encourages further flexibility with distance ranging to and away from the player.
Shoulder Rotation
Adjustments can be made to the camber (left and right) and caster (back to front).
Folding Carrier
All MAY Monoposto and Biposto carriers can be folded to about half their original size for easy transport and protection.
Versatile Snare Hinge
A nylon roller system allows for quiet lift-front capability and quick, easy removal of the drum from the carrier. Positive or negative drum tilt is available due to the special shape of the carrier-side hinge. The hinge parts are made of ribbed, aircraft alloy aluminum making them strong and lightweight.
