The Player II Telecaster embodies timeless Fender charm with its historic design, but under the hood it is ultra-modern. Every detail is designed for smooth playability. The neck in the modern C-profile with a silky urethane finish at the back has a maple or rosewood slab fingerboard with a 9.5” radius, gently rounded edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The body is available in alder, chambered ash or chambered mahogany. When it comes to the finish, you can also choose between the popular Fender standard finishes and new vintage colors that we have freshly pulled from the archives. Player Series Alnico V Tele® single coils deliver crystal-clear highs, musical mids and crisp bass. The neck pickup sounds bell-like and clear, the snappy bridge pickup produces the typical Tele twang. You can combine the pickups with the 3-way switch. The strings run over a bridge with six curved steel saddles. ClassicGear™ tuners keep the tuning stable.
