Made for metal. Using cutting-edge technology and ceramic magnets, Fishman Fluence pickups produce sounds that are full of attack and aggression, filling high gain tones with richness and saturation. The pickup selector lets you swiftly switch between the neck, bridge, and middle pickups, so you can alter your tone on the fly. They are world-renowned, emitting virtually no unwanted hum or noise.

The ultimate pickups. Two voicing options, which can be activated with the voicing switch, allow you to access two unique sounds. The first voicing creates an active, high output tone that will scream with an incredibly tight bass response and mountains of crunch. The second mode emits a passive, fluid tone that is well-rounded and also has plenty of high output goodness. Armed with these sonic tools, you’ll have everything you need to push your sound and performance to perfection.

A neck that’s ready to perform

Underneath the multi-scale fretboard is another piece of Ibanez magic. Their Wizard profile neck is super flat, super thin and extra smooth thanks to a satin polyurethane finish. It gives you loads of room on the fingerboard to pull off sweep picked arpeggios or rapid lead patterns, and lets you transition around the scales at top speed.

What’s more, the five-piece maple/walnut construction provides a robust durability, one that’s extra resistant to temperature and humidity changes. You can thrash as hard as you like, because this neck won’t bend, warp or break while you’re rocking.

Rock-ready hardware

On top of its sleek playability, the SML721 hosts some reliable hardware to make your playing seamless. Gotoh locking tuners guarantee stability while you’re shredding, and pair with a mono-rail bridge to provide accurate intonation across the scales. With the bridge minimising cross-talk between strings, your note definition will remain hyper-clear and with maximum sustain.
