The Schecter Banshee GT-6 FR is built for performance. With an ultra-thin maple neck and 24 jumbo frets, this guitar showcases effortless playability. During long sets, the lightweight mahogany body will reduce playing fatigue. The Banshee is loaded with a pair of EMG active pickups that provide a flexible variety of pf tones that you can use for almost every genre. You’ll enjoy the expressive freedom of the Schecter Exclusive Floyd Rose Special Hot Rod tremolo bridge and tailpiece. Whether you’re a Floyd user or a Floyd abuser, the double-locking design ensures you’re perfectly in tune every time. Complete with an eye-catching flamed maple veneer, the Banshee GT-6 looks great onstage and will impress your audience with its noteworthy tone.

Tried and true tonewood combination

The Banshee GT-6’s comfortable contoured body is made from mahogany — a tonewood loved at Sweetwater for its superb midrange resonance. The body is then mated with a set-through maple neck. Set-through neck construction lengthens the neck pocket, allowing more of the neck’s surface area to be glued into the body. Set-through necks add extra sustain and stability to your guitar. The maple neck is topped off with an ebony fingerboard to add extra note definition and visual appeal.
