Give vocals and instruments added clarity using the enhanced articulation boost and cut out any unwanted muddy frequencies with the selectable low cut (high pass) filter.

Suitable for recording a range of sources

The SD-1 not only excels when used to record speech and vocals, it’s also excellent for high sound pressure level sources such as drums, percussion and brass. The dynamic capsule and cardioid polar pattern are ideal for situations when isolation and off-axis rejection is required and the built-in windscreen helps to rein in plosives and breath noise.

Achieve natural-sounding recordings with SD-1’s flat, wide-range frequency response and make use of the Apollo Channel Strip Presets included to take your production quality even further. Use any standard balanced 3-pin XLR cable to hook up the SD-1 to your audio interface of choice and you’re ready to record!
