Harmonic textures, panning, ramping, and beyond!
The Monumental retains many of its predecessors’ core controls with Rate, Depth, and Shape parameters for sculpting tones, and there are quite a few additions and refinements to explore, too. Six Shape choices let you smooth out bumpy waveforms with vintage amp-like results or embellish the chop for more aggressive sounds (the new reverse sawtooth shape gels particularly well with overdriven tones). Players can switch between the harmonic tremolo and classic amplitude-based tremolo. Moreover, the Monumental’s “S-B-H” control replaces the mode switch toggle of iterations so that users can blend trem styles. The Pan knob adds dynamism to the pedal’s capabilities as you control spreads from left to right across both channels. Lastly, the Monumental provides comprehensive expression pedal control assignable to each parameter, plus new tap tempo options and two-way footswitch ramping. With such comprehensive tools onboard, the Monumental readily fits into live rigs and equips you with tools for matching any pulse, rhythm, or groove.
