Tailor-made for eMotion LV1 systems, the Waves Ionic 16 takes the company’s SoundGrid stageboxes to an entirely new level of sound quality and performance. This box is built around 16 Waves Signature Preamps, which include phantom power and selectable impedance. This harmonically rich, musically dynamic sound is further bolstered by top-shelf, 32-bit/96kHz conversion. You also get 12 super-transparent line outputs with selectable levels. Two squeaky-clean headphone outputs and AES digital I/O give you even more flexibility. The Ionic 16 also features an external power supply input for adding rock-solid redundancy to your setup. Loaded with Waves Signature Preamps
The Ionic 16 includes the first-ever I/O fully and officially manufactured by Waves: Waves Signature Preamps (WSP). These 16 microphone preamps boast pristine, top-tier sound quality reinforced by industry-leading 32-bit/96kHz conversion. These pres include two digitally selectable toggles for maximum sonic flexibility. The first toggle switches between the rich, premium sound of the WSP and a preamp bypass for a neutral sound with loads of headroom. The second toggle switches between a classic 2k ohm impedance and a modern 7k ohm impedance, enabling you to work with a variety of source material in multiple workflows and deploy mic splitting with minimal gain loss
