High-quality, remote-controllable preamps
You can expect top-tier sonic performance from the SoundStudio STG-1608 stage box. It features 16 Texas Instruments PGA 2500 mic preamps boasting 60dB of gain, ultra-low noise at any gain level, and very low THD. These preamps are remote-controllable for easy adjustments in any application.
SoundGrid network card built in
Right out of the box, the Waves SoundStudio STG-1608 is ready to connect to any SoundGrid system. Its built-in networking card allows you to connect to SoundGrid networks with a single Ethernet cable.
Headphone monitoring for FOH
The STG-1608 features a handy headphone monitoring output right on the front panel. It’s there so front-of-house engineers can listen to the FOH mix onstage, allowing for mix adjustments away from the mix position.
