Uniquely organic digital piano technology
Simply activate TransAcoustic mode, and you’re suddenly playing a uniquely designed digital piano. The hammers won’t strike the strings, but non-contact sensors will detect your keystroke depth and velocity and pass this information on to an advanced digital tone generator. Simply adjust the volume to your liking and hear the sumptuous digital sound of your piano performance emanating from the entire instrument. With Yamaha’s TransAcoustic technology, the entire piano is a resonator that transmits the digital sound directly to the piano soundboard. Courtesy of its distinctive design, your TransAcoustic piano allows you to layer the natural resonant sound of the acoustic piano with the sounds from the tone generator.
